(*) "Yes mother did find it, as stated in her first book, but in the end it was deemed too dangerous for public display after the incident with Ahizuhtl, so an exact replica was made for public display, and the real one was stored away in Canterlot Castle for safe keeping... I believe your teacher Princess Celestia would be of more assistance than me..."

Daring Do (audio recording) (loud)
"Hi there!"

Dashing (shocked)
"Gah!"

Daring Do (recording) (excited)

SFX Spell recording turning off

Dashing (irritated)
"Way to go, mom. All the charm and pony emotion of a potion peddler."

"Your mother loves children, Dashing. She wanted her wing of the museum to..."

Dashing (tempered tone)
"...spark creativity and a thirst for knowledge through adventure and fun. Yes, I got all that first hand, thank you so very much Headmaster."

SFX hoofsteps (same as before)

"How's the material on the changelings coming along?"

Dashing
"Ponderously slow. Or should I just stick to what I know and tell my class bawdy tales of the filly fooler who almost married a changeling."

Masra
"Jade fooled us all, Dashing. But she's not the reason I want you teaching this..."

Dashing (tempered tone)
"Yes, yes, I know. Orders from on high from Celestia herself... as for being fooled..."

SFX Glass case opening
SFX Object being put down (levitation stops)

Dashing (tempered tone)
"None of you got down on bent hoof and proposed to her, unlike me..." (pause) "...when were you going to tell me Daring took off and left her classes for the week to Honorary Professor Herpy?"

"Yup. The muffin basket and a half dozen sugars to go..."

"What's up? You look abit like something the cat refused to drag in."

"That bad, huh?"

"Wanna talk about it?"

Dashing (resigned tone)
"I would if I could, believe me, but I honestly dont know where to even start."

Donut Joe
"Muffins are going to take awhile."

Dashing
"Why do you even make muffins in the first place?"

Donut Joe
"You ever try to tell a pregnant mare you only sell donuts?"

Dashing
"Point taken."

SFX Pot perculating, taken off and poured.

Donut Joe
"Chocolate, two whips and baby marshes."

Dashing
"Thanks." (sip) "Maybe its just not my night, Joe. Mom, Jade, the Sapphire Stone..."

Donut Joe
"The Sapphire Stone? Isnt that one of Daring's accomplishments?"

Dashing
"Her seventh. Dont tell that to her ravenous pony fans though. Life, after all, began with the Sapphire Stone."

Donut Joe
"Why is that?"

Dashing
"Because her previous finds pre Sapphire Stone were all warm ups... and mind you if she could ever write about every adventure you'd need a library just for that."

Donut Joe
"Ha! Saving something for a rainy day?"

Dashing
"Not entirely by choice. Quite a few are sealed. Apparently it would be highly embarrasing to some government, organization or individual if some of her antics came to light... and mind you she watches over all these agreements like a griffon, fully intending to publish the second even one lapses."

Donut Joe
"That sounds... a bit morbid."

Dashing
"You dont know the half of it..." (sip) '...I heard she was responsible for the nutrient rich volcanic soil used in the south lawn of the university... by kinda making a volcano erupt on the south lawn, Something about a Diamond Dog relic and a curse and something like that... but thats mom. Making it up as she goes along."

SFX Bits clanking on table

Donut Joe
"Feel better?"

Dashing
"Actually? Yes, yes I do. Thanks."

SFX Walking
SFX Door open/wind and ponies walking and talking

"See ya around, Joe."

"Professor Dashing Do?"

"Hey Eclipse. How's the night watch going?"

"Cant complain... Actually Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna are looking for you. Somepony tried to steal the Sapphire Stone from the palace. Well not somepony but..."

Dashing
"Diamond Dogs?"

Eclipse
"Right, but how..."

Dashing
"They're right behind you... here..."

SFX Magic (levitation)

Dashing
"...take the muffins to safety. And send Royal Guard to arrest these dogs once I am done."

Eclipse
"Right!"

SFX Wings flapping, flying off

Diamond Dog 1 (cocky)
"Bad idea, pony."

Diamond Dog 2 (arrogant)
"Four hooves is no match against this..." (SFX drawing blade) "...too bad you cant stand on your own two hooves and defend..."

SFX Magic (levitation) (Dashing pulling herself up onto her rear hooves)
SFX Breaking chains (pulling a pony fencing foil from a fancy sports store sign), slight sound as foil hoof guard grips Dashing's hoof.

Dashing
"You mean like this?"

Diamond Dog 2 (panic)
"Hu-hu-huh... what!!"

SFX Swoosh (blade engarde poise)

Dashing (confident)
"You dont mind if I use this display pony fencing foil to beat you, dont you?"

Diamond Dog 1 (panic)
"Ah-- ah-- ah-- ah!!"

Dashing (loud)
"Too late! I cant hear your answer!"
