Getting back on track

Well since I am getting back on track with quite a few blogs I might as well get back to audio drama script writing as well... on the off chance somebody picks up something I write or something. First off... maybe write a script in 100 word bites as I work about on updates. That way I don't get stuck with writers block while working.

I'll be back to get started on an idea shortly... but first... a commentary on the latest happenings with ponyinabox and so on... coming up.

Luna Before You Celestia First Draft now up

Took me quite abit of time to write this one up. Wow. Hopefully next audio mini drama I write goes shorter.

Next up I hope to spend some time writing up some Twilight Sparkle/Spike stories, presently tinkering on the first one right now. Probably won't be out until January 2013 but we'll see.

Anyway over 100 days has passed since my first writing submission and... well still don't know how my first submission fared to be honest, but I am thinking it didn't succeed... oh well. Still looking forward to seeing what three submissions did succeed when they come out though.

Here's to the coming of 2013, and hopefully not falling off the fiscal cliff. Darn Republiwhores. Evil... oh well, back to writing!

"PS Did you find a spell for protecting my desserts from Luna yet?"

"Nothing... I was just bored..."

"Surely a sign that all is well in Equestria... By the way did you just send that letter?"

Celestia
"No, no, I dont even know why I wrote it... Ill just burn it real fast and..." (pause) "...where is it..."

Luna
"You just sent it."

Celestia
"No I didnt..." (gasp) "...yes I did."

"Yes you did."

Celestia (groans)

Luna
"Oh whatever must be going through your faithful student's mind right now."

Celestia (pained)
"Dont rub it in!" (groan) "Maybe I can quickly send a nullification letter..."

SFX Letter arriving (Spike sent)

"Methinks it might be too late for that..."

"Hmmm..."

"Well?"

SFX Plopt! (makeover mud applied to Celestia's face)

"Is this part of the makeover?"

"Yes! This will refresh and rejuvinate your complexion!"

"Good luck, Twilight Sparkle." (normal) "Add some lettuce...?"

"Stay away from me, Luna."

"Hold still, Luna... your next, Twilight."

"I bought some lettuce in one of my saddle bags."

Finally wrapping up Luna Before You Celestia (first draft) and will post shortly.
Also going to put up Sidelined for you tocheck out.
Past that I am doing some podcasting work this weekend so I might be a bit slow on scripting this week.

Audio Drama Script Update December 6th

Almost done with Luna Before You Celestia... should be done by this weekend.

Next inspiration is to craft out a couple of Twilight/Spike minis (best team ever!) but working on the ideas for stories right now... hope to start writing something after I finish what I am presently working on.

Well ponyinabox picked three stories from all the entries from a few months back... still think I didn't make it but here's to hoping... hmm... oh, right. I'll be putting out "Sidelined" here for people to take a look at it... then maybe I'll expand it to a 1000 to 1200 words just to add some content I didn't put in the first time while trying to keep to an 800 word minimum. Stay tuned for that.

"One of the perks of being the being formerly known as Nightmare Moon, I wasnt around when you were adopting snobbish unicorn relatives."

Celestia
"They are not snobbish. Blueblood is... an exception."

"So... is this Grand Galloping Gala you made while I was gone a thinly veiled family reunion for all your adopted snobby unicorn brothers and sisters? Mother always thought you were too obsessed with snobby rich ponies."

Celestia (irritated)
"She did not!" (pause quieter voice) "And... well kinda."

Luna
"And you wonder why I avoided going."

Celestia (smug)
"You just hate fancy dress up parties. Mother always said you were a colt at heart."

"Eat your "breakfast", sister."

"Uh... isnt that... dessert?"

"Chocolate waffles buried in whipped cream and cocoa syrup?"

"Well dear Captains of the Guard, your beloved ruler has a bit of a sweet hoof..."

Celestia (irritated)
"So says the chubby pony who keeps eating my desserts!"

"Relax, sugar addicted sister..."

Celestia ("Hmph!")

"I already said I will replace your dessert did I not? Fear not, big sister, I will... why are you all staring at me?"

Celestia (disbelief)
"You can eat while using that spell?"

"Not really. Im just eating for the taste... good thing the spell disintegrates whatever I eat..."

"I am not cleaning up after you."

"Any royal business needing attending to?"

"No your highness."

Celestia (upbeat)
"Well then... permission to wander off and attend to Royal Matters elsewhere?"

"Your Highness?"

"I am most certain anypony can locate us in case of emergency so..." (cheery) "...I hereby give the Throne Room Guards an unexpected day off. May I have permission to loiter freely?"

Royal Guard (shocked)
"O-o-of c-c-course! Th-thank you, your highness!"

Celestia (cheery)
"See you tomorrow, Wintergreen. Say hi to the wife for me."

"Every little bit helps... by the way..." (*) "...was this really your best idea for a disguise?"

Fiction Update November 25th 2012

Well... finally ponyinabox put out word in their second News From The Box that three stories were picked for production... I think I lost but still waiting for that finality... oh well. Better luck next time.

Presently getting ready to post up a few Celestia/Luna minis (Day In Day Out and Luna Before You Celestia)... should be out soon  (first draft). In the meantime I am thinking of submitting again to ponyinabox... soon... well maybe the start of 2013... did I mention that yet? Probably.
