Luna Before You Celestia First Draft now up

Took me quite abit of time to write this one up. Wow. Hopefully next audio mini drama I write goes shorter.

Next up I hope to spend some time writing up some Twilight Sparkle/Spike stories, presently tinkering on the first one right now. Probably won't be out until January 2013 but we'll see.

Anyway over 100 days has passed since my first writing submission and... well still don't know how my first submission fared to be honest, but I am thinking it didn't succeed... oh well. Still looking forward to seeing what three submissions did succeed when they come out though.

Here's to the coming of 2013, and hopefully not falling off the fiscal cliff. Darn Republiwhores. Evil... oh well, back to writing!

"My dearest Twilight... I AM SO BORED!! Please do you have anything for me to do!! Anything at all!! I am going crazy with boredom!!... your teacher, Princess Celestia."

Note Slight pause

Celestia (thoughts)
"PS Did you find a spell for protecting my desserts from Luna yet?"

Celestia (sighs)

"Sister!"

"Wah!"

SFX Magic teleportation

"Don't do that!" (sighs) "Shouldnt you be sleeping."

Luna
"The sun's going down. So I woke up early... what were you writing dear sister?"

Celestia (bored)
"Nothing... I was just bored..."

Luna
"Surely a sign that all is well in Equestria... By the way did you just send that letter?"

Celestia
"No, no, I dont even know why I wrote it... Ill just burn it real fast and..." (pause) "...where is it..."

Luna
"You just sent it."

Celestia
"No I didnt..." (gasp) "...yes I did."

Luna
"Yes you did."

Celestia (groans)

Luna
"Oh whatever must be going through your faithful student's mind right now."

Celestia (pained)
"Dont rub it in!" (groan) "Maybe I can quickly send a nullification letter..."

SFX Letter arriving (Spike sent)

Luna
"Methinks it might be too late for that..."

SFX Magic levitation
SFX Scroll unrolling

Celestia
"Hmmm..."

Luna
"Well?"

SFX Scroll rolls up and put away, magic stops

"Tell Eclipse your taking a night off."

Luna
"Eclipse has the night off."

Celestia
"Then tell Nightweaver and meet me at the balcony in fifteen. Pack an overnight saddle bag. Bring snacks for the night."

Luna
"Where are we going?"

Celestia
"Ponyville."

Luna
"What? Why?"

Twilight (excited)
"A slumber party! This is going to be so much fun!" (Squee!)

Celestia
"First thing first, change to smaller pony bodies."

SFX Magic Transformation (Celestia/Luna becoming normal pony sized equal to Twilight)

"Where is your assistant, Spike?"

Twilight
"Oh he's in Fillydelphia assisting Rarity during fashion week. So the company is quite welcome."

SFX Knock x3

"I wonder who that could be..."

Celestia
"Oh I invited one more pony over..."

SFX Door opening

"Somepony holding a slumber party?"

Twilight (happy)
"Hey Professor Do!"

"Dashing is quite alright with me. Hey there, Twilight..."

"And it looks like I arrived just in time."

"Did somepony arrange for rain tonight?"

"DONT look at me, sis."

Twilight
"The rain shower was scheduled for tonight." (cheery) "Ohkay! Time for makeovers!"

SFX Magic levitation

"What is..."

SFX Plopt! (makeover mud applied to Celestia's face)

Celestia
"Is this part of the makeover?"

Twilight (excited)
"Yes! This will refresh and rejuvinate your complexion!"

Luna (skeptical)
"Good luck, Twilight Sparkle." (normal) "Add some lettuce...?"

Celestia
"Stay away from me, Luna."

SFX Plopt!

Dashing Do
"Hold still, Luna... your next, Twilight."

Celestia
"I bought some lettuce in one of my saddle bags."

Dashing
"Behave you two."

SFX Clock ticking

Twilight
"So how are you Princess?"

Luna
"I do not feel any different..."

Celestia
"I feel... relaxed. At peace."

Dashing
"I feel like Im wearing bean dip on my face. Can we move on please?"

Twilight (excited)
"Good idea!"

"So who wants to..."

"Behold! A tale of a very mischevious sister who likes pulling pranks at her sister's expense!"

Celestia (deadpan)
"Well I didnt think you would take me seriously about the whole Royal Canterlot Voice thing."

"...for pony's sake get some family therapy you two!"

Twilight (spooky voice)
"My tale... is the tale of the headless horse!"

"Fifteen chilling minutes later..."

"I dont know about you, but I think Twilight wins... right?"

"I admit to being frightened..." (groan) "...would somepony please pry me out of Tia's death gr--"

"So... anyponyup for smores?"

"Well... this certainly started out very awkwardly."

"Just wait until its my turn, Tia."

Clock ticking, sounds of pillow fighting

"That was embarrassing."

"I dont want to talk about it."

Twilight (worried)
"Princesses! Are you...?"

Luna (comforting)
"We are not harmed, Twilight Sparkle."

Celestia (resigned)
"Only my pride, dearest Twilight, only my pride."

"There you go again, calling Twilight "dearest"... you dont have a cr--"

Finally wrapping up Luna Before You Celestia (first draft) and will post shortly.
Also going to put up Sidelined for you tocheck out.
Past that I am doing some podcasting work this weekend so I might be a bit slow on scripting this week.

Audio Drama Script Update December 6th

Almost done with Luna Before You Celestia... should be done by this weekend.

Next inspiration is to craft out a couple of Twilight/Spike minis (best team ever!) but working on the ideas for stories right now... hope to start writing something after I finish what I am presently working on.

Well ponyinabox picked three stories from all the entries from a few months back... still think I didn't make it but here's to hoping... hmm... oh, right. I'll be putting out "Sidelined" here for people to take a look at it... then maybe I'll expand it to a 1000 to 1200 words just to add some content I didn't put in the first time while trying to keep to an 800 word minimum. Stay tuned for that.
